Adventure Sports and Camping Activities

Camping is known as the mother of all adventure activities. Apart from organizing nature study camp for children every year HNAF, further takes initiatives for the youth by providing them the opportunity to join our prestigious Adventure trekking and Camping course for the last 32 years. It initiates a learning process of high altitude trekking, camping, and survival in different and adverse climatic conditions.
In 1992 HNAF carried out a month-long River Rafting and Kayaking Course in collaboration with WBTDC Ltd. at Teesta River for the promotion of Water Sports and alternative tourism potential in this region. Further, a certificate course in water rafting was conducted by HNAF for the students of the University of North Bengal in the year 2006.
Again with the completion and opening of the artificial sport climbing wall in Siliguri Surya Sen Park, HNAF conducted a Sport Climbing Training Course involving all adventure sports clubs of North Bengal with the aim to make aware of the sports wall and propagate the message through them to the interested children and youth members of their clubs and people at large in North Bengal.
